Global Forum Rules Version 1.0. Last Updated October 10th, 2014.
There is no tolerance for flaming. If you are caught flaming, meaning ridiculing a fellow member in any way, shape, or form, then you will receive a warn point increasing your warn level to one (1). There are three warn levels, and three strikes you're out. If you have been flamed, DO NOT reply back with flames yourself. If you do flame the person back just as badly, you will get a warn point as well.
If your topic gets deleted for being spam, then the staff members have determined it as spam. If you feel your topic was really not spam, please PM a staff member to discuss it. Make sure if you do this you are civil. The staff member could have mistaken the post as spam. This board has strict no spam rules. We want to keep the site clean for good roleplaying and discussion.
Definition of SPAM:
1. Advertisements of any kind are not allowed to be posted on this board; other than in your signature and the website field in your profile of course.
2. Any topics that are irrelevant to the forum it's posted in, any topics that have strayed away from it's topic title, or any topic that has no purpose is considered spam. An example would be a topic posted that is titled Unicorns R Awesome in the Custom Characters forum is considered spam.
3. Anything that doesn't contribute to the topic whatsoever is considered spam. This could be off topic posts, bumping old threads for no good reason, posting the same message over and over into other threads where it doesn't fit, posting a bunch of smilies, posting just a character or two of text, ect.
There is no flooding allowed. Flooding is creating mass amounts of posts in a matter of minutes, or continuously spamming the same message over and over again. If you think you can flood, think again. You will be warned, and if continued, suspended or even banned permanently.
IV. Offensive Language
There is no rule against swearing, just like there is no law against it. But this forum welcomes ages thirteen (13) and up, so keep it at a minimum or staff members will intervene.
V. Offensive Content
No sexual content or sexual references and no offensive material or offensive references allowed! Period.
Common courtesy is all that we ask. The staff members are giving of their time to make this a better roleplaying experience. They deserve your thanks and appreciation, and to be treated civilly. It is possible that one of the staff may make a decision that you disagree with.
Alas, it is an imperfect world in which we live. If you feel an error was made, you can certainly PM your issue with the staff member that you feel rubbed you the wrong way, as long as you do it in a non-confrontational manner.
VII. Staff Rights
We reserve the right to suspend or delete a user, or move/delete/edit a post, for any reason we feel necessary at any time.
You may only have up to a maximum of four (4) accounts. This is because, when you are roleplaying, you post as your "Character" account. For more information, read this thread
IX. Active Status
Make sure that if you have to take leave for a while to change your Active Status to Away.
X. Sidebar Shoutbox
Members that are banned on the forums are also banned from the Shoutbox. If the member is suspended from the forum, depending on the amount of time suspended, they may request to be unbanned from the Shoutbox. Any rules that users must abide by on the forum is also applicable to the Shoutbox!
People are banned and suspended for a reason, please respect that. If your friend has been banned, we do not want to hear from him, so do not post on behalf of a banned or suspended user.
XII. Warning & Disciplinary Disputes
Staff member disciplinary action disputes are NOT to be discussed on the forum. If you were warned or a staff member preformed some action against you, and you feel it's outrageous, do not create drama within the forums about it. Doing this will simply just get you another warn point, and perhaps even another one depending how far you press. Staff member disputes should be personally addressed to either me
